Growth

It absolutely amazing – there’s no plant in the morning and the next thing I know, it is there, in the evening! Things are sprouting and growing incredibly fast. Or rather, changing incredibly fast.

I’ll show you tomatoes at some point, if they survive and grow well! The whole process in fact. But for now here’s some basil! From just little sprouts to growing proper leaves. My dad asked me at the beginning “are you sure that’s basil?” and the answer is yes! It’s easy to forget how things look at the beginning when we usually just see the end product, right?

It’s good to be a seed sometimes. Comfortable and warm in the soil. It’s good to be a little sapling, so cherished and cared for, and it’s nice to have beautiful flowers and fruits too! Haha

I love gardening ^^ It helps to reconnect :3c Mainly with yourself ^^

See ya! 🌱🌿🌼

Hello cuties!!!🌼🌸

I come to you with another portion of Garden Diaries, I decided to post them in a set of 3! ^^

I really enjoy being out in the sunshine (or rain) working on a beautiful green project :3 And I’m learning so much! It’s amazing how much you learn just by observing things.

I am full of hope too. And sometimes the garden itself comes forward with the most unexpected things. There are flowers out of nowhere, plants seemingly dead suddenly regrowing strong leaves and branches.

I love the feel of the soil, the gentle wind, the sunshine burning the sadness off of me πŸ˜€

What a bliss! \(^^)/ I get the same feeling as with my little balcony garden last year. It’s just what nature does to you I guess! ❀ No matter the space, you can always make it work! I’m still getting used to actually having more space, haha

Love, Juliet

Strawberry of the week

Cutie~

Hello!!!

I decided to write kind of a summary of my gardening endeavours, for those interested in maybe starting their own little piece of green patch :3c

It all started well, I was so amazed with all the seeds sprouting, watching the growth, dealing with problems and loss if something did not survive. First of all, I had to accept that not all of my plants would survive. Some of them needed more space, some I gave too much water, some not enough, some just simply didn’t like being on the balcony. And some were attacked by nasty, but common, little bugs :<

It was a great learning experience though. I learned how to recognise the needs of plants I have, and how to treat them. I learned that some are just not suited to be on the balcony in the middle of the city. It’s so amazing having the beautiful greenery, right there, next to your window!

Fighting to keep stuff alive, I kept alive two strawberry bushes, and they give like one strawberry a week :’) But let me tell you, these strawberries are so sweet and delicious, so much better than store bought! Bonus for a satisfaction of keeping them alive! πŸ˜€

I am still gardening and my adventures aren’t over yet :3 I hope to get some more stuff to keep in the house! To have some greenery inside :3c

Don’t get discouraged, plants are awesome! Haha

See ya,

Juliet
